Here's a typical Friday night promoter event on the Whole Rooftop (120 capacity, $3,500 bar minimum). No theory — actual numbers from actual nights.

You sell 100 tickets at $25$2,500 door revenue

100% yours. We don't see a cent of door takings.

Guests spend ~$50 each at the bar$5,000 bar take

Comfortably exceeds the $3,500 minimum. Room is on us — no shortfall.

Bar exceeds target by $1,500 → 10% bonus+$150 to you

A small kicker on the night, paid the following week.

What we ask of you

The fine print, plainly.

We do this hundreds of times a year. Some things we've learned to set up upfront so we're both clear from day one.

You provide the talent + draw

Acts, DJs, MCs, programming, lineup. Whatever your night needs to feel like itself.

You handle ticketing + your own marketing

Use Humanitix, Eventbrite, Moshtix — your platform of choice. We promote alongside, but the audience is yours.

Bar minimum target tied to capacity + night

A weeknight gets a lower minimum than a Saturday. We'll send you the number for your specific room and date upfront.

No exclusivity inside the venue

You can't bring outside booze, outside bartenders, or outside ticketing. Catering and DJs you're welcome to bring (just loop us in early).

Insurance for special activations

For pyro, animals, large-scale brand stuff — you'll need event insurance. We'll tell you what's required.

Mutual cancellation respect

Same policy as private hire — full refund 7+ days out, 50% inside a week, deposit non-refundable inside 24 hours. We're flexible on rescheduling.

Pitch your night

Fill the form below. Tell us your concept, your usual draw, your target date and room. We'll write back within 48 hours with a yes/no and rough numbers.

Within 1 week

Site visit + agreement

Walk the room, meet your dedicated host, finalise the bar minimum and bonus terms. Everything in writing. Small deposit secures the date.

Event night

You run the front, we run the back

You handle door, programming and your own crew. We handle bar, AV, security and the room. Settlement and bonus paid within 7 days.
